Platinum Plumbing & Heating is an owner-operated Regina shop, run as a partnership between Justin Barnes and Derek McDougald. We started this the way we'd want it done on our own homes: a named owner who takes the call, comes out on the job, and stands behind every repair. No faceless front desk — just a crew you can put a name to.
Justin is the name our reviews come back to — “Justin came out, figured out the issue, and fixed it,” “Justin took my call first thing in the morning.” That's by design. When you call us, you're not getting a dispatcher reading from a script; you're getting the person responsible for the work.
Most homes need a plumber and a heating tech, and most people end up juggling two companies. We do both trades with one crew. Furnaces, gas lines, gas fireplaces, water heaters, drains, pipes, renovation rough-ins — your plumbing and your heating, one call, one relationship. Our customers use us for new builds and renovations alike, and call back for the next job.
We'd rather give you the right answer than the easy sale. We've fixed a fireplace under warranty even though we didn't sell it, and when a job fell outside what we do, we pointed the customer to a company that could help. Honest, hardworking professionals — that's the line our reviews keep using, and it's the standard we hold.
